Time for a Bible Quiz ! Whom did God choose for these important jobs?

Question 1: She was a young Israelite living in a foreign country with only her uncle when God chose her to save her people.

Question 2: He was a teenage shepherd who was too small to wear soldier's armor when God chose him to defeat a giant bully.

How did you do? God chose Esther to be the one who would ask the king to save her people. She was very afraid to talk to the king, but after she asked other Israelites to pray and fast for her, she tackled God's important job. She saved God's people. When God chose David to defeat Goliath, the other soldiers couldn't believe it. They were scared to death of Goliath, but here was this kid willing to face Goliath, armed with only a few stones and his faith in God.

Noah was an old man surrounded by sin. He spent years being laughed at while he built his boat and warned the people about the coming flood. Mary was not a princess or well-educated or rich. She lived in an unimportant town. She was an ordinary Jewish girl when God chose her to raise His Son.

What about you? God just may choose you for an important job. God isn't looking for someone rich or powerful. He's looking for someone who loves Him and is willing to serve. Does that describe you? Will you be ready when God calls you for an important job?
