1 Peter 4:10

God's gifts of grace come in many forms. Each of you has received a gift in order to serve others. You should use it faithfully.

What are you really good at? What are your friends really good at? Are you all really good at the same things? Time for a Bible Quiz on talents!

Question 1: Who was really good at being strong enough to kill a lion? (Judges 14: 5-6)

Question 2: Who was really good at moving? Not just moving from house to house, but from country to country? (Genesis 12)

Question 3: Who was so good at fishing that his net was too heavy to lift because of all the fish? (John 21: 1-6)

Question 4: Who was so good at sewing that everyone in her city wore her clothes? (Acts 9: 36-41)

How did you do? Samson was so strong he killed an attacking lion. He also killed 1,000 of Israel's enemies in one day. Sarah didn't know she was good at moving until God told her husband to move to a foreign land. She packed up all their stuff, and that of all the servants and the animals. After that first move, she was constantly moving. Not once do we read about her complaining about moving; she just did it over and over.

Peter was very good at fishing for fish before he met Jesus. After he gave his heart to Jesus, Peter used his skills to fish for people to bring them to know Jesus. Dorcas made so many clothes for poor people in her city that after she died, the people begged Peter to raise her from the dead. Peter was amazed at all the people's stories about Dorcas and God gave him the power to bring her back to life.

All these people had different skills, but they all used them for God. What about you? What are you really good at? Are you willing to use your talents for God today? 1 Peter 4: 10 says "each one should use what ever gift he has received to serve others!" Use your gifts to serve today!
