In the Beginning …God (Part 1)

Episode Theme

Order-Discovering: Creation points to God the creator.

Memory Verse

Genesis 1:1

In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth.

Take a look around you. God’s world is full of amazing facts.

An ostrich's eye is bigger than its brain.

The only continent with no active volcanoes is Australia.

A giraffe can clean its ears with its twenty-one inch tongue.

A strawberry is the only fruit which seeds grow on the outside.

The moon orbits the Earth every 27.32 days.

Find someone and tell them these facts. Better yet, do you know other amazing facts?

Go out and discover the amazing facts about God’s creation. Use a magnifying glass. Use a microscope. Use a telescope. Use a stethoscope. Look at things closely and (where appropriate) touch, taste, smell, and listen.  Look for God’s fingerprints. They aren’t hard to find, because they are all over His creation.

Also remember that you are created by God too.  Psalm 139:14 reminds us what to do and why: “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”
