Theme: God-Worshiping: Dialoguing With God
In churches and at home, together with our children, we sing, we pray, we praise, we confess, we cry out to God. But none of our actions would mean much if God did not act as well. We worship not a dumb idol but a living God. This God acts in the world – and in worship. God’s grace comes first; then we respond. Worship is a loving conversation between God and the people of God.
When do your children hear God speaking to them?
Together specifically choose a person in need or in service to pray for each day this month. Perhaps you can choose one person and send that person an encouraging card from your family.
Come before God with joyful songs. Find a special song for each week this month. At the supper table each day, sing the song-of-the-week.
From our Kids Corner site, download our Cut-Out Storytelling characters and scenes. Color each character and glue each on a Popsicle stick. Retell the Easter story for your family and celebrate Christ’s resurrection. http://kidscorner.reframemedia.com/specials/downloads/
Maybe you'd like to start a family tradition of planting special flowers in your garden on Easter weekend. When they grow and bloom, you can remember that these flowers are Easter flowers.
Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.
