Verses for Passion Week

Christmas is so much easier for families to celebrate with advent activities. How can a Christian family celebrate Easter? Here is an idea to try. The last week of Lent begins with Palm Sunday and ends with Easter Sunday. Each day this special week, as a family read passages that tell what Jesus was doing and teaching. Here is a list taken from The NIV Study Bible (Zondervan, 1995):

Monday:
Jesus curses the fig tree. (Mark 11: 12-14)
Jesus cleanses the temple. (Mark 11: 15-18)

Tuesday:
Jesus' authority questioned. (Mark 11: 27-33)
Jesus teaches in the temple. (Mark 12: 1-44)
