Celebrating Jesus’ Stories

December is all about preparing for baby Jesus, so here’s an idea to try for November: prepare for advent by focusing on Jesus’ stories. The stories Jesus told were meant to help us understand what the kingdom of God is really like. For each night’s parable, talk about the story and then try having a family member illustrate the meaning behind each story. Create a booklet of pictures of Jesus’ parables.
