Reflect

In this episode, Liz and his friends know that too much television is bad, but cannot resist Cole’s new technology.

Just knowing what is right and wrong is not always enough to help you resist the world’s temptations. Romans 12:2 tells you to step back from the world’s temptations and spend time with God first. Then you will be able to more clearly see activities that do please God. Is there an activity that you need to step away from in order to see “God’s good, perfect, and pleasing will”?

Challenge

Make a sign on which you write out the words of Romans 12:2. Keep it over your television set. Challenge yourself and your friends and family to think about the following questions when you sit down to watch TV or play a video game: Will this activity please God? How will this activity serve God? How will this activity serve others?
