Liz here. I am so excited to tell you about my neighborhood. You see, Lucille and I live here with our families in the town called Terrene. Terrene was founded many years ago by a group of reptiles who decided that living together was much safer than living apart. It's small, but we still have schools, churches, a library, and the Internet.
It's great living here! We are really close to mountains, farms, and a river, so we've got lots of places to play and have adventures. And we've made some great new friends like Morrie, Spike, Chamy, Lacey, and Scooter. Miss Wattle is our teacher and she is pretty okay, as long as we do our homework. We've also got a few older friends — Grandpa Anole and Granny Gecko. We met them at church and they live on farms on the outskirts of our town. They are great to talk to and they help us out with our problems and stuff. Especially when we have to deal with the school bully, Skink, and his buddies, the Iguanas.
I hope you enjoy your visits to Terrene each week when you tune in to Kids Corner. And, if you are ever in the neighborhood, be sure to stop by Big Daddy-Ohs Soda Shop for a spider leg sundae. Yum!!!
