Reflect

In this episode, Liz and gang finish their adventure in Wonder World, with everything inside the dome restored to the way they were meant to be.

Someday (only God knows exactly when), Jesus will come again—not as a baby, but as our King. He’ll dazzle us with a new heaven and a new earth. He’ll invite us to enjoy his perfect creation and to live there with him forever. We’ll actually see Jesus face to face. However, right now is important too! Right now, God is restoring his creation, and we can help. 1 Corinthians 3:9 says we have a task to do as co-workers in God’s service. Just like Isaiah, Gideon or Mary, God gives each of us particular tasks. They may be large or small, but regardless, God is calling you to action! What a blessing to share in God’s work!

Challenge

Choose three adults that you admire, and who know you well. They might be in your family, your school, your church, or your neighborhood. Tell your parents who you’ve chosen, and then go ask them the questions below. (Hint: you may need to write out the questions so the adults have time to think about their answers!)

  1. What do you think I’m good at?
  2. What do you think I’m passionate about or interested in?
  3. How have you seen me serving God?
  4. Do you have any suggestions about how I can serve God right now?

Collect all the answers. What conclusions can you make? How can you use the gifts and talents God has given you to help restore God’s world?
